Fridays 1:00 PM-2:30 PM (SPRING ONLY)
Cost $250
.5 Elective Credit
This class is taught the second semester as a 14 week class with a showcase at the end of the year. Usually the week after last class. Many student enjoy theater but are not interested in musical theater. If that is your student they will love this class. We focus on aspects of theater from the roots, how it has been used to tell stories and change lives, and how it has changed over the years. We expolore all production aspects and put on a classic play. The play is chosen from a variety of plays we bring to class and study. Each student will participate in a production role as well as an on stage role. Language and character development are deepened.
This class can be a stand alone class or a continuation of the Shakespeare class from first semester. It is not necessary to take Shakespeare in order to take this class.
