Level Up Teen (an Emotional Intelligence Journey)
Age: 14-18 years old (13 year olds may register with approval)
Fridays 11:00 AM-12:30 PM
Cost: $400 ($200 per semester)
1 health credit or elective/leadership credit
Heading into adulthood can be a frustrating and emotional time for most teens and parents of teens. If you find your are in this spot, you are not alone. This class will help your teen discover who they are and how to effectively navigate their world with power and success. We will explore the functions and purpose of the teen and young adult brain, and how to be proactive in managing stress. They learn foundational skills to build empathy, improve social skills, increase self-awareness and Self-regulation, and improve healthy boundaries for stronger relationships. At the end of each semester, the students will use some of the skills they have learned to plan activities for the homeschool community, including service activities, dances, and adventures.
